Full itinerary:
Day 1: Hue – Prao (Approx. 160km)
We kick off the journey from Hue, riding along peaceful countryside roads and through remote villages surrounded by rice paddies. The route gradually takes us into the Truong Son Mountain Range, where winding roads and scenic landscapes await.
We stop at a local tea plantation, where you can enjoy the mountain air and take photos of terraced fields. Then we visit a nearby ethnic minority village, learning about their daily life, traditional weaving, and handmade brocade products.
After a local lunch in a hillside restaurant, we continue riding along the historical Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing through lush forest roads and small mountain towns. We’ll take breaks to capture the stunning views and explore hidden corners of this remote region.
By late afternoon, we reach Prao, a small quiet town nestled in the mountains. Check-in to a guesthouse and relax for the night.
Day 2: Prao – Hoi An
After breakfast, we leave Prao and continue riding through the scenic mountain roads of the Truong Son range. Along the way, we visit waterfalls, stop by local farms, and ride through peaceful countryside landscapes.
We then head to the spectacular Hai Van Pass – one of Vietnam’s most iconic coastal roads. With its panoramic sea views, historical bunkers, and winding turns, it’s a thrilling highlight of the tour. We stop at various viewpoints for photos and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze.
Next, we pass by Lang Co Bay, a picturesque fishing village with turquoise water and white sand. Then, we head inland toward the ancient My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with centuries-old Cham temples hidden deep in the jungle.
After exploring My Son, we ride through quiet rural roads and across a high bridge overlooking a vast river valley. The tour ends in the beautiful ancient town of Hoi An, where you can relax, explore the lantern-lit streets, or extend your stay.
