Great Trip Through the Highlands
Hi River and Mr Lam, Just a little note to say once again how mch D’Arcy and I enjoed our trip with the two of you. As a recommendations to others: River was most attentive intially to learning what we wanted out of a trip... number of days, where we wanted our return destination, what features we were interested in as we travelled through the countryside. What did we see and learn? First hand meeting with: 1. local farmer who had been part the VietCong troops .... currently raising a family of 14 children, all of whom he was supporting through to University education. 2. a reveered elder ( over 100 years old) in a minority village. We were th first foreigners that this group allowed for us to meet the family who cared for this woman. 3. a relative of River who had a home business of making rice noodles. In all towns and villages we could see that River maintained relationships of friendship and good will, so that he would have continued welcome for foreigners that he brought into their midst. Mr Lam as well brought his knowledge of historical events and farming as his contribution to informing us of all that we were seeing and asking questions about. Both of these gentlemen have been doing these trips for over 5 years. They have intimate knowledge of how much Vietnam has changed in this time. Our day trip
If anyone is interested in doing a tour of the highlands in vietnam or even interested in the history of vietnam i totally recommend easyrider, you’ll have an experience you will never forget. Our guide River is a great person with a fantastic personality (also a good footballer as we had a match against some vietnamese ppl at the end of the day).We would have loved to done the 3 day tour but unfortunately we could only do a one day trip due to time restrictions. They make you smile & laugh all day long and i promise you will never forget it. thannks for everything gus
High recommend Mr River and Loi
If you are reading this and deciding whether to join these Easy Riders, the answer is YES! River and Loi were great value in both personality and price. They took us to great places we would never have experienced and showed us and explained the real history and life in Vietnam. They also speak exellent English which really helped. Had two awesome days. Just don’t play them at cards or you will end up "arseholes" and "wankas"! :) we had really great fun! And don’t worry about the roads - they are "silk drivers"! Hoi an 19 may 2007 . After 5 days riding through the central highlands with River and Loi , We have many great memories and photos of the countryside and beautiful landscaps of area - especially the moutains and waterfalls along the Ho Chi Minh trail . We had opportunity to meet soom very kind people along the way and we dined on some delicious food with River and loi - allowing us to sample many traditional dishes that can’t be found in tourist restaurants . We also had some great conversations , over many beers and enjoyed having the chance to pick their brains about life in Vietnam . They are both very contident in their jobs and entertaining . Wonderfull 5-days trip across the highland, on moto. Their happiness and smile made us forget the rain and enjoy every minute of this big adventure. We saw beautiful landscapes, played with minority kids, sung vietnamese songs in the hotel, saw waterfalls... The food was delicious and the hotels were nice and clean. So don’t hesitate any minute ! We went with Mr. River and Mr. Lam on a 5 day bike tour from Dalat to Hoi An. We were supposed to be on a 3 day tour but extended it cos we were having such a fantastic time. River is a very safe driver with wonderful english and an amazing knowledge of his country. We ate local foods and River even brought us to his cousins house for dinner. We met with minority people and had the oppurtunity to play football with them. All in all, this was a truly unique and wonderful way to experience the ’real’ vietnam. I would highly recommend this tour and it has been a highlight of our 4 months of travelling. Thank you so much for the chance to feel like a local in a foreign land!!!!!!!!

Pour decouvrir le Vietnam comme vous ne l`avez jamais vu c`est ici qu`il faut venir. Sans doute la meilleure adressse du pays. La convivialite, les sourires et les paysages merveilleux sont garantis. Peu importe la meteo nos motards savent parer a tout et vous concocter un voyage au poil! Ils parlent tres bien anglais, francais ce qui permet d`avoir d`excellents rapports. Aucune hesitation a avoir, il faut foncer!!!!

We did a four Day tour from mui ne to na trang. Untill this trip we found it hard to get of the tourist road and see the real Vietnam. River the founder of easyriders mui ne planned for us the perfect trip. River and Luu where very good guides and showed us the real Vietnam and shared their vast knowledge. Both got out of their way to make sure we where having a good time. Our visit in Vietnam wouldn,t have been complete without this wonderfull trip. Thanks again Luu and river!!
